Ritual Vintage is a women's clothing store in downtown NYC, open 7 days a week. Ritual has been a neighborhood favorite since 2006.
We specialize in all eras from 1850 to the 1990s with a heavy 1970s focus. We have a huge selection both in the shop and in our archive (by request only). The website is a tiny representation of the pieces we carry; if you're looking for something in particular, please reach out.
Online pieces ship from upstate NY and are not available in the store. For large orders we will consider pulling website items for the shop with 72 hours' notice by email.

Basic shipping is free; upgraded options by request at purchase. Items ship first class, or priority if over a pound. Buyers are responsible for customs and import taxes. International shipping is at the buyer's risk; add insurance at purchase if concerned.
returns & layaway
All items are final sale, online and in store. Misrepresented items (serious undisclosed condition issues, not fit or color) are considered for store credit case by case; notify Ritual within 24 hours of tracked delivery.
Layaway: a non-refundable 20% deposit, pay on your own schedule, complete within 90 days. Items listed less than 24 hours require 50%. We do not hold items.
condition guide
- deadstock · never worn, usually with original tags.
- excellent · previously worn with only slight evidence of wear.
- very good · sturdy and wearable, may have minor flaws.
- fair / poor · major flaws or in need of restoration.
- study only · for pattern or historical study.
Vintage can run small. Go by the measurements listed, not the marked size.
buying
We do not buy in person or take consignment. We consider estates or larger collections only; email photos to be considered.
